About the Journal

The Nigerian Journal of Immunology (NJI) is an official publication of the Nigerian Society for Immunology published in the months of April, August and December. The journal replaced its fore-runner, the Immunology Seminar Series, which was inaugurated in 1982.

The aim of the journal is to provide a forum for the sustained dissemination of knowledge in the field of Immunology and applied Immunology amongst researchers and practitioners in the field. Papers are welcome on all aspects of basic, clinical, experimental and applied immunology and related disciplines.

Manuscripts are submitted to NJI on the understanding that the manuscript has not been previously published and not under consideration for publication in any other journal except in the form of an abstract at a conference or as part of published lecture or academic thesis.
