About the Journal

Journal of African Association of Physiological Sciences (JAAPS) is a bi-annual official publication of African Association of Physiological Sciences. Both print and online forms are available. JAAPS is aimed at dissemination of information on diverse areas of research in Physiological Sciences and to showcase a representative cross-section of the kinds of research being carried out in Africa, in particular and globally. The journal was established in 2012 at the congress of African Association of Physiological Sciences held in Egypt. The maiden issue of the journal containing review and original research papers as well as abstracts of proceedings of AAPS congress in Ismailia, Egypt, was published in July 2013 while 2 issues (July and December yearly) have been published regularly to date.
